What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can kids participate?
This itinerary is also open to children aged 11 and over, with a minimum height of 150 cm, who are used to riding mountain bikes.
What type of e-bike will I ride?
The e-bikes used for the tour are ROCKRIDER E-EXPL 700, 29” electric mountain bikes designed to handle dirt roads and elevation changes with ease. The BROSE T mid-drive motor (70 Nm) provides smooth and natural assistance, adapting to your pedaling effort and making uphill sections easier and the ride more comfortable. The integrated 630 Wh battery ensures long range and reliable performance throughout the tour. A 130 mm suspension fork, wide tires, and hydraulic disc brakes offer excellent control, comfort, and safety on different types of terrain.

Pricing & Included stuffs
Discover the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento by e-bike on a unique experience that combines history, nature, and local food. With a certified e-bike guide, you will ride through one of the most beautiful archaeological parks in the world, following quiet and sustainable paths away from the crowds.
The tour starts at Casa Diodoros, the farming heart of the Valley. After a short introduction about the e-bikes, safety and itinerary, you will begin your ride exploring areas usually open only to private guided visits. You will visit the Temple and Garden of Asclepius, a sacred place connected to ancient medicine, and the Sanctuary of Demeter, surrounded by ancient temples, rock sanctuaries, and peaceful countryside, where history and nature come together.
The ride continues on the western side of the Valley, through the Diodoros Gardens, near the Kolymbethra, and along the ancient city walls of Akragas. This is one of the most scenic areas of the park and offers beautiful views that show the great planning of the ancient Greek city. The last stop is in the San Nicola area, with a panoramic view of the Temple of Concordia, the Agora, and the Oratory of Phalaris.
Back at Casa Diodoros, you will enjoy a Slow Food tasting made with local products from the Valley. It includes a daily pasta dish and water, prepared in respect of local traditions.
The guided tour ends here. But you can continue your visit on foot along a private path that leads directly to the Sacred Way and the Temple of Concordia, exploring freely and at your own pace.

🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 3-hours and start in the morning and afternoon. Please note that starting times may vary depending on the opening hours of the Valley of the Temples. You can check available times clicking on the booking button and selecting the date.

We recommend cycling clothing, alternatively sportswear with sports shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, cycling gloves. In winter clothing appropriate to the season with windproof jacket.

For this activity is scheduled a food experience that includes a first dish of the day and water. You can bring water and based on your needs snacks, or energy bars. The bottle cage provided on the e-bikes is suitable for 500 or 750 ml bottles.

This eBike excursion has a "High" sustainability rating as no emission during the activity. While microfragments of rubber may be released due to normal tire wear, their minimal impact is not considered significant. The quietness of electric motors eliminates noise pollution, and since the trail follows the normal track, the surrounding flora and fauna remain undisturbed.
