What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can I reach the excursion location by public transport?
Public transportation is limited, and it is not recommended to book unless you have your own vehicle or take a private transfer.
Can kids join?
This excursion is not suitable for children under 14 years old. For the little ones, we recommend a Horse Riding course for children, available on the Courses page.

This horse back riding excursion takes place in the nature reserve of Santa Ninfa, a horse trail of 1 hour and 30 minutes suitable for both, beginners at their first experience, and for experts who want to enjoy an excursion sorrounded by the beauty and quiet of nature. On saddle of your horse, you will face a mountain path that crosses the Finestrelle woods, a karst area of great geological interest. The natural landscape belongs completely to chalky soils, whose outcrops are dominated by Mediterranean scrub, characterized by the flowering of Euphorbia, thyme and wild orchids. The fauna includes hedgehogs, rabbits, porcupines, weasels and foxes. Among the birds it is possible to sight buzzards, kestrels, nightingales and jays, all species that can be observed during horse rides.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 4 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. Minimum age 14 years old. Maximum weight 100 kg.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 1h30min and start in the morning, afternoon and based on the season at the sunset too. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite one.

🥾 Recommended clothing
We recommend sportswear with sports shoes (no flip-flops, slippers), sunscreen, sunglasses. On winter, clothing appropriate to the season with windproof jacket.

Only english saddles available. The gait is on walk.

This horseback excursion has a "High" level of sustainability thanks to the low emissions resulting from this activity. In fact, even if horses emit methane, about 18 kg per year, these emissions are irrelevant. The high level of sustainability is also given by the absence of pollutants released on the ground and the total lack of noise pollution, furthermore, taking place on marked paths, it does not cause damage to either flora or fauna.

Esperienza perfetta per staccare dallo stress quotidiano. I ragazzi sono stati cordialissimi e hanno fatto in modo di farci sentire subito a nostro agio. Panorama da incanto. E per quanto riguarda il mio cavallo “Nebbia” veramente spettacolare. È stata la mia prima esperienza, ma devo dire che sia Nebbia sia l’addestratrice Julia mi hanno trasmesso sicurezza per tutta la durata del percorso. Consigliato per chi ha un tenore di vita molto stressante e và sempre di corsa, questo è il modo giusto per rallentare i ritmi.

Insolito e bellissimo
Non è solito per dei turisti ritrovarsi sopra ad un cavallo nell'entroterra siculo, ma per fortuna con Julia e Giuseppe vi faranno vivere questa esperienza in totale armonia, persone fantastiche, affidabili e gentili, i loro cavalli sono a prova di principiante ma adatti anche per i più esperti, consigliatissimo per chi non ama la solita vacanza!!
