What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can I reach the excursion location by public transport?
It is not recommended to book unless you have your own vehicle.
Can children participate?
Yes, this excursion is suitable for children of any age as long as they are used to take walking and hiking in the mountains.

Pricing & Included stuffs
The charm of a winter excursion on Etna is all in the contrasts; the black of lava rock and the pure white of the snow, the intense green of the woods and the blue of sea in the distance. This snow hiking goes along a track on the east side of mount Etna at 2000 meters above sea level. Will walk into a pine forest until to reach a big lava field with wonderful views of the sea and the summit area of Etna. From there rising along a steep and short path will conquer the edge of some lateral craters from which you will enjoy a unique panoramic view over seven huge craters, sea and the bay of Taormina.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 10 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.

Length: 6 km; Elevation gain +150 metres. Max altitude: 1800 metres
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 4-hours and start in the Morning at 9:00am.

🧤 Recommended clothing
We recommend snow clothing with waterproof trekking shoes (no après-ski), warm underwear, technical trousers, fleece, down jacket, windbreaker, gloves, neck warmer, hat.
