Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 7 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases. Minimum age 12 years old.

Activity description
This experience is carry out in Siracusa in the marine area of Ortigia island, and it's designed for those who want to approach the world of diving in a safe, guided, and engaging way, in marine environments rich in natural and historical interest.
After an initial briefing, you’ll board a sailing boat and cruise along the coast of Ortigia, passing by the impressive Maniace Castle. The journey continues toward a dive site known for a rocky formation that may seem modest from the surface, but reveals a fascinating underwater environment.
Here, you’ll find a natural underwater arch that hosts a variety of marine life, including red coral and different species of fish, along with traces of archaeological interest. This is where your “first dive experience” takes place.
Accompanied by a scuba diving instructor who will explain how to use the equipment, you’ll wear full gear and take part in a dive session lasting about 20–30 minutes. The dive is conducted at a shallow depth and follows a gradual approach, ensuring safety, control, and a smooth adaptation to the underwater environment.
This experience offers a direct first contact with the underwater world, combining technical aspects with exploration, all within a beautiful yet safely managed natural setting.
At the end of the session, you’ll return to the boat, set sail, and take relax during sailing back to the Ortigia dock, taking with you the memory of a whole new world waiting to be explored.

What happens in case of bad weather?

Do I need to know how to swim to participate in a diving session?
Yes, you need to be able to swim.
Who can't participate?
People suffering from cardiac or respiratory diseases and pregnant women cannot participate in this activity.
