What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can I reach the excursion location by public transport?
Public transportation is limited, and it is not recommended to book unless you have your own vehicle or take a private transfer.
Can kids join?
This excursion is not suitable for children under 14 years old. For the little ones, we recommend a Horse Riding course for children, available on the Courses page

Pricing & Included stuffs
The Nebrodi Park, which extends over 86,000 hectares, is known for its extraordinary variety of habitats, from Mediterranean scrub to lush mountain forests, and is home for several protected species, including the golden eagle and the Nebrodi black pig. This horse riding allows you to discover a part of this reserve. Suitable for both beginners and experts, the one or two-hours ride runs along paths of oak forests and mountain meadows, typical landscapes of the Nebrodi mountains, offering splendid views of the surrounding valleys. Along the way, participants will have the opportunity to admire the works of art of a Sicilian sculptor, who is also the guide of this excursion. His sculptures, harmoniously inserted into the natural landscape, tell the history and culture of Sicily and enrich the experience with a touch of art. Whether you are a novice or an expert rider, this excursion will offer you an experience where nature and art blend in a harmonious balance.

Minimum booking required 1 people, maximum 4 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. Minimum age 14 years old. Maximum weight 100 kg.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 1 or 2-hours and start in the morning, afternoon and based on the season at the sunset too. You can choose durantion and departure time during booking selecting the favorite ones.

🥾 Recommended clothing
We recommend sportswear with sports shoes (no flip-flops, slippers), sunscreen, sunglasses. On winter, clothing appropriate to the season with windproof jacket.
🐴 Riding style and Gait
Both English and American saddles are available for this excursion. The gait is on walk.

For this activity you can bring a bottle of water and some snacks (not included).

Not required any skills. Minimum age 14 years old. Minor can take part only with parents.

Activity features
A naturalistic and cultural horse excursion in the Nebrodi park, riding through mountain meadows and woods with nice panoramic points. Along the path some sculptures by a Sicilian artist will accompany your ride enrich it with a touch of culture.

This horseback excursion has a "High" level of sustainability thanks to the low emissions resulting from this activity. In fact, even if horses emit methane, about 18 kg per year, these emissions are irrelevant. The high level of sustainability is also given by the absence of pollutants released on the ground and the total lack of noise pollution, furthermore, taking place on marked paths, it does not cause damage to either flora or fauna.
