What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
What does the shuttle service include?
Given the logistical complexity of this tour, our organization provides a shuttle service included in the price which includes the transport of participants and e-bikes from the meeting point to the starting point (30 minutes) and from the arrival point to the meeting point (35 minutes).
What types of ebikes are provided?
The eMTB Front bikes provided are mid-to-high level, featuring an aluminum frame, front suspension, a 120mm fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 630W battery for extended range. The eMTB Full models differ by offering dual suspension and more advanced specifications compared to the Front, such as a 160mm fork. We have various sizes available, which will be assigned during the pre-departure briefing.

The Dorsale dei Nebrodi is probably one of the most researched mountain bike tours in Sicily, for its great variety of landscapes, for its breathtaking sea views and for its lakes. But despite the classic route already give unique emotions, we have gone further, designed a tour that collects all the beauty and timeless charm of the biggest protected area of Sicily. The completeness of this tour lies in the possibilities that offers, and it's not just breathtaking natural landscapes, grasslands and high altitude forest, but also encounters with wild animals, fascinating geological aspects, in short... a trail for very bikers!

Minimum booking required 4 people, maximum 6 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.

We recommend cycling clothing with padded shorts, alternatively sportswear with sports shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, cycling gloves. In winter clothing appropriate to the season with windproof jacket

📋 Required skills
For this activity you must be familiar with using a mountain bike on dirt trails. Minimum age 16 years old (160 cm).

40 km along the Sentiero Italia a trail through the wonderful Mangalaviti forest, lake Biviere and lake Maulazzo into the Nebrodi park. A very intensive bike tour with panoramic views of the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Aeolian Islands.

This ebike tour has a "High" sustainability level as no emission during the excursion. During the trail, micro-fragments of rubber may be released due to normal tire wear, but given their very modest amount, they do not represent a polluting factor. The silence of the electric motors excludes noise pollution and, since it takes place on marked paths and trails, the flora and fauna are not disturbed.
