What happens in case of bad weather?
This kayak excursion is strongly influenced by weather and wind, therefore cancellations are possible even a few minutes before the start of the excursion, in which case it's possible to move the excursion to the next session, if the conditions improve, or even, in the following days. In case of cancellation by our organization you can ask refund of the deposit.
Is it mandatory to be able to swim?
Yes, you have to be able to swim.

This excursion is suitable for both: beginners at their first experience and experts who want explore the Taormina bay.
How can I reach the starting point of this excursion by public transport?
If you want to reach the starting point of this excursion from Taormina, Catania or Messina or from other locations on the Ionian coast, visit the Interbus transport service website, enter your departure location and in the arrival location select "Giardini - San Giovanni", select the date, the number of people and view the available rides, buy the ticket paying attention to the departure and arrival times. Remember that it is recommended to arrive 10 minutes before the tour departure. The Giardini San Giovanni bus stop is at 8-minutes walk from the starting point of this kayak excursion.

We are in the eastern Sicily, travelling here you can discover the beautiful Taormina, with its terraces overlooking the sea or its famous main street or the Greek theater or the suggestive village of Castelmola. In this part of Sicily mount Etna dominates, a generous and impetuous matriarch. You can conquer its smoking peak with the Etna Summit Tour, or cycling along the park thorugh woods, caves and lava fields with an eBike excursion or if you want discover river environments the Alcantara Gorge Body Rafting will leave you breathless. But let's get to the description of the beautiful Kayak excursion to Isola Bella. The Isola Bella is one of the Sicilian marine reserve with bigger biodiversity. Perfect place for snorkeling and kayaking. In 2011 it was proposed as a UNESCO heritage site. This is the location of our Kayaking in Taormina. Paddling from the bay of Giardini Naxos will lead to Capo Taormina through the wonderful Ionian coast, between sea caves (La Grotta degli Innamorati, La Grotta Azzurra) and a crystal clear sea. In some seasons and depending on particular conditions, it's possible to sight marvelous species of dolphins swimming on the surface. Before start will be there a short briefing during which the instructors will give you technical explanations to enjoy the activity in full safety.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 10 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 2h30min and starts in the morning, afternoon and based on the season at the sunset too. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite one. Due to the unstable weather and wind in this area, timing changes and cancellations are possible even a few minutes before the start of the activity.

Escursione in Kayak
Tra l'esperienze più belle che abbiamo fatto a Sicilia! Meravigliosa escursione con Maurizio chi è adorabile. Prenotazione semplice e sicura sul sito, facile da trovare il posto d'incontro, percorso incredibile con il tramonto sull'Etna per finire. L'unica difficoltà: parcheggiare a Giardini Naxos, tutto marcato "residenti", abbiamo dovuto lasciare la macchina al parcheggio a pagamento.

2 hours kayak tour
It was a very pleasent experience. The booking was very fast and easy, the guide was kind and nice and the tour also interesting. We had fun floating into waves and saw plenty of beautiful jelly fish.
