What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
What types of ebikes are provided?
The eMTB Front bikes provided are mid-to-high level, featuring an aluminum frame, front suspension, a 120mm fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 630W battery for extended range. We have various sizes available, which will be assigned during the pre-departure briefing.
Can I reach the location of this excursion by public transport?
It is possible to reach Randazzo town by train or bus from Catania or other locations. You can check the transport services of Ferrovia Circumetnea.

In autumn, the forests of Mount Etna are transformed into a mosaic of warm and vibrant colors. This stunning natural phenomenon is caused by biochemical changes in the leaves as days grow shorter and temperatures drop. Chlorophyll fades away, revealing carotenoids and anthocyanins that paint the landscape in yellow, orange, red, and purple.
Autumn is one of the best seasons for an eBike excursion on Etna: the volcano’s intrinsic beauty combines with the magic of the foliage, making the landscapes even more captivating.
This eBike route is characterized by a variety of landscapes and offers the chance to admire the foliage from three different perspectives: from within the forest, from outside, and from above. Each viewpoint appears during different moments of the ride.
First, we’ll enter into the forest to admire from inside the light runs among leaves and branches; then, we’ll exit onto Etna’s largest lava field, dominated by rope-shapes lava flows. Here, we’ll stop for a short caving session to explore one of the famous lava tube of Etna. Finally, we’ll go through again the forest to reach a scenic single track across the lava, reaching a volcanic rift from which we can admire both the craters and the colorful foliage from a truly unique viewpoint. From there, we’ll follow a fast and enjoyable trail back to our starting point.
Wine Tasting (Optional)
At the end of the tour, you can choose to join a wine tasting at one of Etna’s most renowned wine bars. The tasting includes a platter of local cold cuts and cheeses, paired with two glasses of wine (white and/or red). To book it togheter with the tour, select the “eBike Tour + Tasting” option during booking.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 10 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.

Length: 25 km; Elevation gain +600 meters.

This experience lasts 5-hours around and start in the Morning at 9:00am.

🥾 Recommended clothing
We recommend layered cycling clothing with padded shorts, or alternatively sportswear with sports shoes, windbreaker, neck warmer, fleece, cycling gloves, and a 10/15-liter backpack.

📋 Required skills
For this activity you must be familiar with using a mountain bike on dirt trails. Minimum age 12 years old (155 cm).

This eBike excursion has a "High" sustainability rating as no emission during the activity. While microfragments of rubber may be released due to normal tire wear, their minimal impact is not considered significant. The quietness of electric motors eliminates noise pollution, and since the trail follows the normal track, the surrounding flora and fauna remain undisturbed.

An exciting experience
Our guide Salvo made our ebike tour the highlight of our holiday in sicily. I highly recommend this tour and will definitely will do it again if I have the chance to. We visited craters and a cave. The information given by Salvo helped us appreciate the might and beauty of mother nature.
