What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
What types of ebikes are provided?
The eMTB Front bikes provided are mid-to-high level, featuring an aluminum frame, front suspension, a 120mm fork, hydraulic disc brakes, and a 630W battery for extended range. The eMTB Full models differ by offering dual suspension and more advanced specifications compared to the Front, such as a 160mm fork. We have various sizes available, which will be assigned during the pre-departure briefing.
Can I reach the location of this excursion by public transport?
It is possible to reach the designated meeting point for this excursion by train or bus from Catania or other locations. You can check the transport services of Ferrovia Circumetnea.

Along a paved roads we will rising up through a small part of the famous Mareneve Road, included by National Geographic in the list of 400 most suggestive routes in the world to do with car or bike. We will reach the access to the park, from here, it will be a riot of colors, contrasts, panoramas, thick forests that close above your head, endless lava fields, volcanic caves, deep craters. We do not want add anything else to leave you the desire to discover these wonderful adventure.

Minimum booking required 2 people, maximum 10 people. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.

Length: 35 km; Elevation gain +550 meters.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 3/4-hours and start in the morning, afternoon and based on the season at the sunset too. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite one.

🥾 Recommended clothing
We recommend cycling clothing with padded shorts, alternatively sportswear with sports shoes, sunscreen, sunglasses, cycling gloves. In winter clothing appropriate to the season with windproof jacket.

📋 Required skills
For this activity you must be familiar with using a mountain bike on dirt trails. Minimum age 16 years old (160 cm).

A eco-friendly electric mountain bike trail of 35 km through the beautiful volcanic landscapes of Etna. During the tour you will try an exciting single track, cross a lava tube and walk along the craters of a volcanic rift.

This eBike excursion has a "High" sustainability rating. No emission producted during the activity. Microfragments of rubber may be released due to normal tire wear, their minimal impact is not considered significant. The quietness of electric motors eliminates noise pollution, and since the trail follows paths and never off, the surrounding flora and fauna remain undisturbed.

Fantastic trip to Etna
