What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can I participate if I'm not able to swim?
No, you do not need to swim. Most of the trail is in shallow water between 30 to 110 cm, however you will wear a life jacket.
*How we sanitize wetsuits
Personal equipment (wetsuit, shoes and helmets) is sanitized after each use through a disinfection process, which involves the use of specific products for washing neoprene fabrics and materials, these are certified products that are safe for health.
How to get to the Alcantara Gorge with public transport
If you don't have a car but want to take part with Body Rafting, here is a detailed guide on How to Reach the Alcantara Gorges from every part of Sicily. To participate in Body Rafting is required booking, not booking on place are accepted. Our Body Rafting Center is right next to the bus stop. We remind you that reaching the Gorges on time is your responsibility, suggested guide is for informational purposes only, we are not responsible for any delays or disruptions by the transport company.

Pricing & Included stuffs
The wonderful lava canyon through which the Alcantara River flows, is one of the most visited nature attractions in Sicily. Into this fascinating place you will experience the body rafting. Importnat to know: respect the other agencies we propose the body rafting into the lava gorge, that's very protagonist of the Alcantara park and set of some famous spots.
This experience starts at the Body Rafting Center, where you will find showers and a small relax area. After a short briefing during which you will wear the wetsuit* and full equipment (equipment included), you will ready to face the river. During the ascent we will encounter natural obstacles such as small waterfalls or rocks, which require an adventure mood. Your inseparable travel companion will be adrenaline it will helps you to face every challenge.
The ascent of the river will take some of your energy, but will give you back many good feelings: the current will push you down but with a little effort you will win it, all around the nature kingdom sorrounded you with its sounds and sun light that shines all over on the black basalt canyon. The ascent finish to the Venus waterfall where will begins the descent. Under the control of the guides you will lay down on the water surface to start with the descent, a few meters will be enough to replace the fear with a feeling of freedom and pure fun. Carried by the current you will find yourself sliding between rocks, rapids and little waterfalls surrounded by the beauty of a unique place in the world.
Body Rafting is lead by professional and authorized guides will be follow and support the participants along the way.

⛔ Restrictions
No minimum number required. Maximum weight 110 kg. Minor can participate to this activity only with parents and with a minimum height of 120 cm. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and for people with respiratory or cardiac diseases.
🕒 How long does it last?
This experience lasts 2h30min and takes place in the morning or afternoon. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite ones.

Body Rafting with Antonio and Antonino it was definitely the most exciting and breathtaking experience in Sicily! We didn't expect it so hard but the spike of adrenaline and dopamine and all the happiness hormones made it an UNFORGETTABLE AND AMAZING ADVENTURE! We are looking forward to do it again... especially because the guys were so prepared and caring, plus the canion is just stunning

L’esperienza è stata entusiasmante, la nostra guida Andrea paziente è molto molto gentile ed educato, io e mia figlia ci siamo trovate benissimo Panorami mozzafiato all’ interno delle gole e arrivare fino alla piscina di Venere e’ stato bellissimo. Escursione assolutamente consigliata

Bellissima esperienze nelle gole dell'Alcantara
Bellissima esperienza. Serve un minimo di agilità e resistenza, ma le guide sono pazienti e disponibili ed aiutare anche chi è meno atletico. Il percorso è adatto anche ai ragazzini, con un minimo di altezza (mio figlio di 13 anni l'ha fatto più agevolmente di me...). Rispetto a quanto si può fare in autonomia e senza attrezzatura, grazie a questa esperienza siamo risaliti dalla spiaggetta per circa 500 metri allontanandosi dalla folla; protetti dalle mute è assolutamente piacevole anche tuffarsi nei punti un po' più alti e ridiscendere galleggiando. Solo due tratti mi hanno suscitato un po' di timore, ma si scende in totale sicurezza... basta lasciarsi andare, una scarica di adrenalina!
