Malabotta Forest Nature Reserve is located on the border between the Alcantara river and the Nebrodi park. It's one of the last natural woods existing in Italy, inhabited by huge centuries-old oaks called the "Wises of the Woods". The path it's very suggestive and full of life. Malabotta nature reserve is also famous for megaliths, giant monoliths by uncertain origin made of sandstone with bizarre shapes located a short distance from the woods. Unforgettable day hiking Etna
We had an unforgettable experience exploring Etna thanks to our guide Salvo, who led us to several craters and a very impressive lava cave and who told us a lot of interesting facts about volcanos in general and the specifics of Etna.
The booking process went smoothly and our guide contacted us in advance to clarify the meeting point etc. As a family of three we were lucky to have a private tour and we were asked about our preferences in advance.
I highly recommend booking a tour with Etna Wild Experience

Unforgettable
Walking across immense lava fields was an unforgettable experience, ably led by Salvo.
The cave was less impressive than I expected altough this was the advertised purpose of the day.
The trip was intended to start from Randazzo but we then used our own transport, driving for 40 minutes to the park entrance and paid for parking in addition to the fee for the trip.

Ottima esperienza
