What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Do I need license to drive a quad?
To drive a quad bike it's enough the standard licence used in all part of the world.
What is the minimum age to participate?
5 years old is the minimum age to go on board a quad bike. Minor can't drive a quad bike.
Can I reach the excursion location by public transport?
If you don't have a car but want to take part with Alcantara quad tour, here is a detailed guide on How to Get to the Alcantara Gorges from any part of Sicily. We recommend getting off at "Fondaco Motta", next stop to the Alcantara Gorges, we are 100 meters far from the bus stop. We remind you that reaching the starting point on time is your responsibility and this guide is for informational purposes only. We are not responsible for any delays by the transport company.

Pricing & Included stuffs
The Alcantara Quad Tour go through the most important naturalistic sites of the park, including the famous Alcantara Gorges, the main tourist attraction in this area. The tour will allow you to see the most characteristic places of the valley, visiting some suggestive medieval villages where you will discover very fascinating sights.
1-hour tour*
The 1-hour tour is the shortest off-road adventure, during which you will drive along dirt road crossing some streams, to discover some naturalistic sites of the Alcantara river.
1H30MIN tour*
This tour is half an hour more to not leave in you the desire to rev a little more! The tour is a little longer to take a look at some other landscapes of the Alcantara valley.
2H30MIN tour*
During the 2h30min trail, in addition to the off-road between streams and dirty roads, you will drive through suggestive medieval villages to take very nice panorama of the Alcantara valley.
*Swimming in the river is not planned during quad tour, but if you want you can visit by yourself the little beach of the Alcantara gorges before or after the tour (entrance ticket € 1,50 per person, not included).

This tour has 3 duration: 1h, 1h30min or 2h30min and takes place in the morning and afternoon. You can choose the duration and departure time during booking selecting the favorite ones.

🥾 Recommended clothing
We recommend sportswear with sports shoes (no flip-flops, slippers), sunscreen, sunglasses, bandana for dust. In winter, clothing appropriate to the season with a windproof jacket.

This quad tour has a "Low" level of sustainability due to the emission of approximately 3 kg of CO2 and water vapor per participant for 1-hour and 1h30min tours, and 4.76 kg per participant for 2h30min tours. The tour contributes to soil pollution from engine oil spills, generates noise levels above 100 dB, which may disturb wildlife, and finally, it could cause damage to both flora and fauna as it involves some off-trail passages.
