What happens in case of bad weather?
Outdoor activities are always affected by weather conditions. Last-minute cancellations are possible. Cancellations by our organization always entitle you to a full refund of the deposit. To know the policy about bad weather visit the "Assistance" page, "Reservations" section.
Can I reach the excursion location by public transport?
To participate in this activity you will have to reach the port of Vulcano Island, easily reachable from Milazzo or from all the other islands by hydrofoil.
Do I need license to drive a quad?
To drive a quad bike it's enough the standard licence used in all part of the world.
What do you know about the Aeolian Islands?
The archipelago of the Aeolian is an island arc composed of 7 emerged islands and 8 submarine mountains and is about 200 km long. A UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000, the islands has volcanic origin, that is, islands emerged following the deposit of volcanic material. The islands of Vulcano and Stromboli still have active craters monitoring by the INGV (National Institute of Geophysics and Volcanology). Lipari is the largest island and Alicudi the most remote, with a census population of only 100 inhabitants.

The island of Vulcano offers the most suggestive panoramic views of the Aeolian Islands. With the quad tour will explore the most beautiful landscapes, going up ancient craters from which to enjoy breathtaking sight of the Aeolian islands. Not only landscapes but a lot of fun too. Aboard the quad bikes will face off-road trail along forest areas to discover ancient caves. For the quad tour in Vulcano we propose 2-hours tour along a dirt road, with passages in Mediterranean woods, craters, to find up the beauties of the island closer, with some stops for short trekking to explore the most fascinating naturalistic sites.

No minimum number required. This activity is not suitable for pregnant women and children under 5 years old.

This experience lasts 2-hours and start in the morning. You can choose departure time during booking selecting the favorite one.

We recommend sportswear with sports shoes (no flip-flops, slippers), sunscreen, sunglasses, bandana for dust. In winter, clothing appropriate to the season with a windproof jacket

This quad tour has a "Low" level of sustainability due to the emission of 4,80 kg of CO2 and water vapor per participant. The tour contributes to soil pollution from engine oil spills, generates noise levels above 100 dB, which may disturb wildlife. It doesn't cause damage to flora as it runs on marked paths.
